FlockSavvy

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 9, 2026

FlockSavvy ("we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information is involved when you visit flocksavvy.com and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not sell personal information. The site is a static publication with no login or checkout. We may process:

  • Basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) collected by our hosting/CDN provider, Cloudflare, for security and to keep the site running.
  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which content is useful. We configure it conservatively: advertising signals and Google Signals are disabled, IP addresses are anonymized, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles of you. GA4 sets first-party analytics cookies. We may also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and collects no personal data.

Respecting your privacy signals

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track signal, we do not load Google Analytics at all. You can also opt out of GA across all sites with Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Cookies & affiliate links

Aside from the analytics cookies described above, the site runs without advertising cookies. Some links on FlockSavvy are affiliate links (see our disclosure). When you click one, the destination retailer — such as Amazon — may set its own cookies to attribute a possible purchase to us. Those cookies are governed by that retailer's privacy policy, not ours.

Your choices & rights

You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time, and we honor GPC/Do Not Track as above. Depending on where you live (e.g. the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA), you may have rights to access or request deletion of personal data. Because we hold very little, most requests are simple — contact us and we'll help.

Children

FlockSavvy is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
