Terms of Use
Last updated: September 2, 2026
By using flocksavvy.com you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Information, not professional advice
FlockSavvy publishes general educational information about keeping chickens. It is not veterinary advice. Animals, climates, and local rules vary — for a sick or injured bird, or before making decisions with legal or health consequences, consult a qualified avian veterinarian and check your local ordinances. We're not liable for outcomes from acting on general information here.
Accuracy
We work hard to be accurate and to update pages as guidance changes, but we make no warranty that all content is complete or current. Product specifications and prices in particular change without notice.
Intellectual property
The content, design, and original images on FlockSavvy are our property and may not be republished without permission. You're welcome to link to us.
Buying the coop plans
What you are buying. The FlockSavvy Coop Plans are a digital product: PDF files you download. Nothing is shipped, and there is no physical kit, no timber and no hardware included. The price shown at checkout is the full price for the files.
Who takes the payment. Payment and delivery are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. Your card statement will show Lemon Squeezy, they issue the receipt, and they handle any sales tax or VAT due in your country. We never see or store your card details.
Delivery. The download links appear immediately after payment and are also emailed to you, so you can download the files again later. If a download does not arrive, email [email protected] and we will send it.
Licence. The plans are licensed for your own personal use. Build as many coops as you like from them, for yourself, and modify the designs freely. You may not redistribute, resell, or republish the PDF files themselves, in whole or in part.
Refunds
All sales are final. The plans are digital files delivered the moment your payment clears. Once they are downloaded they cannot be returned, so we do not offer refunds on them. We say this here, and on the plans page next to the price, rather than leaving you to discover it afterwards.
What we will put right. If a file is missing, damaged, or not the product you ordered, email [email protected] and we will fix it — a fresh download link, the correct files, or whatever the problem needs. That is a delivery problem, not a change of mind, and it is on us.
If you are in the EU or the UK, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal on digital purchases. That right is lost once the download begins, and by starting the download you agree to that and acknowledge it.
Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record for every purchase. They handle the payment, and under their own terms they may issue a refund at their discretion within 60 days, independently of the policy above.
Before you buy, read the capacity and specification figures — and read them again before you buy timber. We cannot do anything about materials, tools or labour for a coop you have already built. That is exactly why we publish sample pages and a full walkthrough video on the plans page: the product is visible before you pay for it.
Building safely — your responsibility
The plans describe standard light-frame construction and follow US extension-service space guidance for laying hens. Local building codes, zoning rules, flock limits, climate, soil and predators vary enormously. Checking what applies where you live, and the safety of what you build, is your responsibility, not ours. Use appropriate protective equipment; power tools and cut hardware cloth both injure people every year.
